Martine

My name is Martine. I'm 12 years old. Seriously? Yes, seriously; some people don't believe me and think I'm some scary 14 year old. I'm not. Really. Now, that picture of me over there is so ugly, I really don't want you looking at it. Hopefully in the near future I'll take a nicer one. But basically I have black hair, black eyes [don't think its possible? it is. you can't identify my pupils or any design line thingies in my eye] and pale skin. [edit: okay, now its tan cause of my recent trip to china where my sunblock was confiscated because it was over 100ml in the airport...]

I live in the sunny archipelago that is the Philippines, where its 30 degrees everyday, which is hotter than some country's summers. This is why I spend most of my time cooped up indoors on my computer, or perhaps doodling or eating. Despite this, I get my fair amount of exercise from jazz classes and the evil art that is PE.


I love the creative arts. Music and design are my life, as well as writing. I hope to pursue these talents in the future. I play the guitar [both electric and classical] and I love designing layouts and graphics, as you've probably figured out. I can combine my doodling and graphic skills to make pretty hand drawn brushes :D
I use GIMP to make my graphics. I have been using it for 1 or 2 years now, and I love how there are a bazillion windows and a lot of clicking to be done. To me, its very much like Photoshop; its just more manual.
I am also a huge book worm. I love L.J. Smith books and the Percy Jackson and the Olympian series especially. Id read practically any vampire book [no, not Twilight, sorry - I just don't understand the concept of vampires sparkling in the sun instead of burning to death] or anything about Greek myths.

Anything else you wanna know? Too bad, not giving it.

Hey there, I'm Lianne. Haha yeah; like Martine, I'm 12 as well. I sometimes can act a bit immature for my age, and sometimes a little too mature. I tend to have anger issues and random spaz attacks all at the same time. I'm not balanced at all. I'm unpredictable. Really.

I love metal, rock & techno/house, as well as the colour black. And I hate wearing my hair up.

As you've probably noticed, Martine usually makes most of the graphics on ambient light. I'm more of a programmer, you see. I'm into really geeky techy stuff, like coding and iPhones or something. I do know a little bit of Photoshop however, and I just loooove to draw. I really want to be a fashion designer when I grow up, and I'm planning to go to college in Paris. I've also taken several fashion illustration courses, which were pretty much useless since they taught me stuff I already knew. But I guess it was pretty useful to know the anatomy stuff and all that.

Ehh, I hate all sports. And I literally mean all. Except wakeboarding <3 I love to dance though. I take ballet and tap dancing [yes, tap dancing] lessons in my spare time, and it's pretty tiring sometimes. I'm not doing classes for the summer though, since I have to 'rest' and work on ambient light ;D

When I'm not stuck to the computer screen, I like to read. The crap part is that I finish books all in one sitting, so I always run out of books to read. It sucks, actually. I LIEK TWILIGHT AND TAYLOR IS SXC

I must be realllyyyy boring you right now. I'm pretty much full of useless information, you see. That's how geeky I am. I spend like, my whole day on the laptop. But whatever.
